A recent report has been released by Reuters that states that Swedish esports organisation Ninjas in Pyjamas has merged with a Chinese team to create a new entity that "could be listed in the United States by year-end".
NIP has apparently agreed to merge with ESV5 via an equity swap, and assuming it is listed on the trading platform NASDAQ, will see NIP be the first publicly-traded electronic sports teams in the US.
Neither NIP or ESV5 has made a statement or commented on the report, which means we probably won't be hearing much about the merger until the listing is official.
