Mineski and Mogul enter strategic partnership

This will see a number of initiatives pursued in Southeast Asia in a deal signed for five years.

Esports Mogul Limited has revealed that it has entered a strategic partnership with Mineski Global, seeing Mineski launch a Mogul branded Hub, also being the primary tournament platform provider for Mineski's Southeast Asian events.

Mineski and Mogul are also exploring the rollout of Mogul's platform across Mineski's cybercafes in the region, as well as at future live events managed by Mineski.

On top of that, the pair will also launch Pay Per Play events in the area, and will collaborate on developing additional revenue streams like subscription packages.

Mogul will get "50% of all tournament, event, and sponsorship revenue generated through the
partnership", and the term of the deal is five years, including a two-year minimum period and three additional annual roll-over periods.

"Partnering with Mineski brings Mogul to the largest esports organisation in Southeast Asia, covering live and online events, online tournament series, cybercafes, as well as marketing and promotions programmes in the region. Mogul and Mineski will work closely over the coming months in advance of the launch of Mineski's Branded Hub and commencement of our joint marketing activities," said Managing Director of Mogul, Gernot Abl.

Is this a good deal for both sides?
