Invictus Gaming joins Victory Five in being another top-five ranking team in the regular season to be knocked out of the LPL playoffs this weekend. The team exited the competition after taking a 3-0 loss to LGD Gaming in the quarterfinals.
Once a potential contender to win the competition, Invictus finished fourth in the regular season with a final result of 12 wins and four losses.
LGD Gaming's next match is against JD Gaming in the semi-finals this Sunday, August 23. This should prove to be a challenging match for LGD, as JD fished as the top-ranking team in the regular season, after sustaining only three losses.
