"Hello everyone and welcome back to another episode of GRTV News.
Today we're going to be talking about something which quite frankly I thought we'd be talking about earlier.
With that being Starfield. Now the game is doing incredibly well."

"It came out properly on Wednesday despite the fact that it kind of got like 5 days worth of early access.
Which means it kind of realistically came out like last Friday because of the fact that people, the public could genuinely play the game if they just paid for a more expensive version of it.
But regardless, the full launch has taken place this week on Wednesday."

"It's available on Game Pass, it's available on PC and Xbox Series X and S consoles.
And well, it seems like people are flocking to the game because it's now already the biggest Bethesda game launch of all time.
So with that being the case, let's take a look at the news piece and go from there.
Starfield is the biggest Bethesda game launch of all time."

"Bethesda has now confirmed it has reached over 6 million players.
Even though there was an early access starting on September 1st for people who bought the deluxe editions of Starfield, the real official release was on September 6th.
Most people probably expected an avalanche of new players going to space with Bethesda at the premiere."

"Well, that pretty much happened.
The official Starfield account on X just announced that over 6 million people have already played the game.
While it was revealed earlier this week that it had sold really well, this new numbering also includes Game Pass players.
This makes it the biggest Bethesda game launch of all time."

"We expect this result to keep growing at a really fast pace over the weekend.
So what do you think of the game so far?
And yeah, that's the little quote there from Bethesda.
As of this morning, Starfield has already surpassed 6 million players, making it the biggest Bethesda game launch of all time."

"If I had to guess, I would say that the number is going to skyrocket over the weekend as people get their first opportunity to really play the game since it's launched.
6 million players is a huge number.
We've seen some games come out, especially sort of the free to play live service ones come out and within a few weeks hit the 20 million number."

"I think Overwatch is one of those where it took about a week or so to get 20 million players on the game, not Overwatch 2 rather.
So if Starfield can get even half of that within its launch period for a game that's not free to play, it's done incredibly well and bodes incredibly well for Bethesda as a company as well."

"But yeah, if you want to learn more about Starfield and you want to see more about it, we've done live streams, we've got reviews up and all that good stuff.
So make sure to head to your local Game Rector region for more.
And otherwise, be sure to check out the game over the weekend."

"It's on Game Pass.
You can pick up a one month subscription instead of having to buy the game outright for £70 or whatever.
Instead, just pick up a one month subscription, check it out.
And then if you like the game and want to keep playing, then potentially extend your subscription or something like that."

"But yeah, let us know what you think about it.
And otherwise, we'll be back now on Monday for the next GRT News of the Week.
So I hope you enjoy your Friday. I hope you enjoy your weekend.
I hope you enjoy all the time you're going to be, no doubt, spending on Starfield."

"And yeah, we'll see you all on the other side.
Take care, everyone.
