Introduction to Unity by creating simple ambient life
In the "Introduction to UNITY by Creating Simple Ambient Life" you will learn how, without prior knowledge of UNITY or programming, you can create a simple ambient life simulation - deer will go to sleep when tired, and eat when hungry. The teacher, Tilman Geishauser, is Founder at Fantasieleben UG (haftungsbeschränkt), and the AI Programmer behind their first product, the NEEDSIM Life Simulation. The first video will show you how to animate a deer, and how to let it walk to a spot on the map upon pressing a key. The tutorial provides a quick overview over the UNITY Editor and an introduction to game objects, assets and prefabs. Simple sprite animations are made in UNITY, and controlled with Mecanim as well as a very simple script.
