It'll be a multi-stage event with a prize pool of £25,000.

Ubisoft has announced the 2021 UKIN Rainbow Rumble tournament, an event that will span multiple months and stages, and will feature hundreds of the UK and Ireland's top Rainbow Six: Siege competitors, all fighting for a slice of the £25,000 prize pool.

Set to begin next weekend, on October 30, teams across the UK and Ireland will be competing in two unique qualifying tournaments, which will set up the group stage that starts in November. This part of the event will see the top two teams from each of the four groups advancing to the knockout round in January 2022. This section will use a double-elimination bracket to determine the winning team of the event, where this team will be awarded a special trophy designed by the community.

"We're excited to bring the UKIN Rainbow Rumble to fans in the UK and Ireland as the next step in the UKIN ecosystem", said Will Attwood, esports marketing manager for Ubisoft UK. "With downtime after the Summer Season and players looking ahead to qualifying for the Challenger League in 2022, we want to give local players and teams the experience and opportunity to play in a competitive ecosystem and hone their skills against some of the best teams ahead of the 2022 competitive season."

All the action can be watched on the Rainbow Six UK Twitch channel when the tournament kicks off in a few weeks, and further details on the tournament can be seen on its website here.
