Shanghai Dragons re-sign Diem

The renowned sniper will be staying at the team he has played for his entire career.

The Overwatch League has been busy these past few days announcing player signing and re-signing left, right and centre. The Shanghai Dragons are looking to join in on the fun, and have announced that Minseong "Diem" Bae will be staying with the organisation for the duration of the 2021 season. Revealed in a tweet, the Dragons also released a statement about the re-signing.

"The man once in a Dragons jersey will continue to guard SHD with his snipes. He is the most cold-blooded sniper in the League and also the Dragon that we find the hardest to part with. Today, let us welcome - the most familiar Diem (Bae Min Sung)! He is back, and ready to soar sky high!"

The post does continue further talking about Diem's achievements in the League, and how they hope he will build on his reputation as a lethal sniper even more so in 2021.

As for the Dragons themselves, the organisation is currently very similar to the way it was at the end of the 2021 season. The main changes are the signings of Panseung "Fate" Koo, Joon "Erster" Jeong and Chengzhi "Molly" He, in the main tank, DPS and support roles, to replace a few individuals who have moved to other rosters.

Whether this will be the extent of the Dragons team for the 2021 season is uncertain at this point, as due to the later start of the League, teams have a little more time to build out their line-ups before competition kicks-off again.
