Dr. Disrespect among winners at the Esports Awards

Bugha also won big for his work at the Fortnite World Cup, with League of Legends also getting a few awards.

The Esports Awards were hosted this past weekend, and there were plenty of winners at the Esports Stadium Arlington, hosted by figures like Eefje 'Sjokz' Depoortere and Alex 'Golden Boy' Mendez.

Fortnite World Cup winner Kyle 'Bugha' Giersdorf won Esports PC Player of the Year and Esports PC Rookie of the Year, while Dr. Disrespect (real name Guy Beahm) won Streamer of the Year.

In terms of Game of the Year and Esports Live Event of the Year, League of Legends won both for their recent World Championship in Paris, with Riot Games also getting Esports Publisher of the Year.

Esports Personality of the Year was 100 Thieves founder Matthew 'Nadeshot' Haag, and for the full list of winners head this way.
