It was Fnatic who walked away winners after an exciting grand final against FaZe Clan at the CS:GO premier event at IEM Katowice World Championships. The final was a back and forth affair that went down to the wire with Fnatic managing to take the fifth and final map 19-17. One player who did particularly well for Fnatic was Robin "flusha" Rönnquist, who was on fire during the final and was a well-deserved MVP.

Swedish team Fnatic find themselves back on top of the CS:GO world with the win after struggling to win a major for two years whereas favourites FaZe Clan finds themselves losing another major final. Fnatic took home a massive $250,000 for the win (half the total prize pool).
