Overwatch Contenders playoffs will not use Mercy changes

The game will be played on an older patch.

We reported last month that Overwatch's Mercy was getting some drastic changes, and this obviously affects the esports scene for the game too, although not the Overwatch Contenders playoffs, it turns out.

Blizzard has confirmed to The Dot Esports that the tournament, held at Blizzard's new esports arena in LA, will not be played on the latest patch, 1.15, instead being played on 1.14, before these big changes were made to Mercy.
